Geocaching

Are you a member of a club or group of friends or a participant in a seminar group ? Are you looking for some sort of game to bring your group together with a challenge ?

Since August 2012, we can challenge you to a treasure hunt, surrounded by nature but with a GPS receiver and a logbook in hand. An adventure combining tradition and modern technology, relaxation and group dynamics during your stay in La Petite Pierre. Information available at the Office de Tourisme.

Geocaching was invented in the 1980’s in Finland and has become popular in over 200 countries today.

Log on free to www.geocaching.com, click on Hide / Seek a Cache, give your postcode or address and then click on Search. Choose one of the treasures from the list of geocaches and click. Give the coordinates into your GPS receiver - and off you go. When you find the treasure, sign the logbook and return it to its hiding place for the next player to find. Log your find on the internet site, pictures are welcome.
Tip : Follow the geocaching rules, and the clues along the way.
